
CASTING NOTICE – CBC KIDS SEEKING HOST
Calling all fun-loving performers with a passion for song, comedy, and play!
Are you a hilarious, energetic, singer, musician and performer with a love for kids media?
If you answered YES, you could be the next host of CBC Kids! CBC Kids Studios is seeking an energetic, fun-loving, musical individual to host our morning block, online content and live events for audiences 4-6 years. You must have a passion for creating content for kids, be able to sing & play an instrument, bring the comedy and present authentically on camera. Not only will you be the face of the CBC Kids, you will also be an integral part of the production team. In this position, you will actively contribute to creative, develop & pitch concepts, write scripts & songs, create digital content and more!
WHO: 18 – 30 year olds eligible to work in Canada.
SHOOTING LOCATION: Toronto Broadcasting Centre
TENTATIVE OUTSIDE SHOOT DATES: April, 2025 – Mar 31, 2026 with possibility of renewal.
COMMITMENT: April 1, 2025 – Mar 31, 2026 with possibility of renewal.
COMPENSATION: Full-Time Contract Position (CMG Band 11), with benefits.
